Introduction |
Price
Waterhouse (PW) is one of the largest Accountancy/Management and
Recruitment Consultant firms in the world. It has merged with
Coopers & Lybrand in the last few years. The combined
group has offices in over 100 countries. After the fall of
Berlin Wall, PW moved into Eastern and Central Europe.
According to PW's spokesperson, it was expected that the company would
not be profitable in its operations for a period of five years in
Poland and other countries in Eastern and Central Europe. I,
Umang Malhotra, was predominately based in Poland between 1989-94, had
first hand experience with some of the executives of PW and their
operations. In certain cases, they were simply incompetent.
|
I came to
realize many contradictions between stated goals of PW in its
advertisements and/or in recruitment policies and the actual practices
of its top executives. The facts on subsequent pages only
highlights some of these contradictions and incompetence of PW's top
executives. These facts are supported by hundreds of pages of
letters, faxes, emails, and innumerable telephone conversations with PW
executives and their lawyers Eversheds. |
People are
aware that the World works with Power,
Money, Connections, and Knowledge in practical
reality. The fact that this company covered up by using
bureaucratic means and unethical practices. In the process,
Price Waterhouse lost site of their stated objectives and goals. |
This is why
I decided to put Price Waterhouse on the Internet in order
to expose incompetence, contradictions, deceptions, and discriminatory
practices. |
